Trouble with Cruise control
The CC on my 1979 corvette has starting to act up. When you engage it the car will start to speed up the after approx 7 mph it will act like it is disengaged then it will start all over again. The cc was working on the car up to two weeks ago. I have traced all of the hoses and electrical wires and every thing seems to be hooked up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Gary B.

It might be a number of things, mine did the same once and I found if I held in my cc button it stayed ingaged, so I replaced the complete lever control. problem gone. I'm sure you will get a few more suggestion also.

Seems that I remember that TheoUK is very familiar with the cruise control in the Vette. I would send him a PM and see if he can send you the info. on the different components and what might be causing your problem. I tried to find the info that he has provided in the past but could not locate it.
