Temp. sensor location question.

Default Temp. sensor location question.

can i put the temp. sensor for elect. fan in the top of the water
pump where there is a pipe type plug now located? or where
else can i put it. its a 75, 350, auto.

I don't see why not. However, there are other locations also. On my 79, the elect. fan switch is located on the passenger side on the head between #6 & #8 cylinders. I'm using a Elderbrock EPS intake and there's a plug in front.

The water pump is about ideal. The head and intake are much less desireable.

Thanks Guys, i put it in the intake where there is a temp. operated
vaccum switch, worked out real nice.
