Just got this today, everyone that can, send some info.
Hi Tom,
Sorry for the delay...
We've actually started the R & D phase of the C3 ('68 - '82) G-Force Crossmember.
Currently, the plan is to fit the automatic vettes with the new crossmember. The manual vettes are up in the air as the crossmember is welded in.
Any info you can provide will be helpful and appreciated.
Thanks,
John 631-325-7947

Subject: Crossmember
If you guys only made a crossmember for the c3 vettes to hook up a 200r4. All the forums I read this is the biggest problem, getting it lined up and the pipes hanging to low.
Bowtie has a tubular cross member that angles up from the center. Makes it easier to get exhaust underneath it because it doesn't have to go through holes.
Have a 74 coupe with a 200r4. It was a TH400. The swap couldn't be any easier. The existing crossmember lined up perfectly. I havn't seen any posts that say otherwise. As long as you have an auto already it is an easy and worthwhile swap.
I did the 200r4 swap on my 80 and you will need a different crossmember or you will have to modify your existing one. Bite the bullet and order the one Bowtie offers but be aware you still will need to play with the exhaust.
Crossmembers upto 79 will work with the 200r4.
