Choke Thermostat
My '72 service manual says to adjust this by holding the rod down against the thermostat bevel (push it all the way down) and it should fit in a certain notch in the choke lever. I bent the rod to make this happen (I had to bend the @#*% out of it to get it there, but that makes sense cause the thermostat sits a lot higher on my new intake than the stock one) and it kind of helped, but then when it heated up it wouldn't push the rod UP enough.
Upon looking at Eckler's, it looks like my coil has it's hole up toward 2 oclock instead of 5oclock like this one:

Anyone have a part number for this I could take to Checker Auto? They're $11 there compared to $19 plus shipping....
I'm sorry I don't have pics- no camera this weekend. If you need clarification to give some advice PLEASE let me know.
Thanks! -=Boston!=-
