All that dinging is why I chose stock manifolds for now. That can't help air flow and it would bother me to smash up a $1500 set of chrome Hooker side mounts.
That oil pan does look deep. Watch out is you have a lowered front end. I'm using a Moroso pan and have about 4" clearance at the pan.

Uh, Len, the proper headers don't require dinging. They're close, but they clear. And yes, the steering coupling will be replaced before it hits the road.
I kinda like that black paint. It sets off the aluminum and chrome differently.

New Centerforce clutch, TO and pressure plate

1 teeny weenie airfilter to fit under the hood
Try and snag a set of solid lifters with the laserhole in the face. It greatly enhances the lubrication at the cam lobe/lifter. Comp has them, as does Crower. Should be a torque monster.

Like the other said be careful w/ the pan, my stock pan didn't like speed bumps. I thus switched to a Mororso w/ kickouts.
