Torque Questions 2 ???

how tight do I make my halfshafts on the wheel end?? these were tight!! and how tight do you put the differential bushing itself, just till it crushes a little??

Use a torque wrench and follow the specifications in the GM service and/or overhaul manuals. If unspecified, tighten until based on the lowest specification found for that sized nut or bolt.

I just replaced the half shafts on my '69 with carbon fiber 3.5'' shafts.....the correct torque spec is 75 ft.-lbs. for the flange bolts. (Use locks).

Thanks, how about that rubber diff bushing?? just till it begins to crush?? or till the lock washer locks??

I believe it's 65 ft/lbs
