I'm not talking about adjustable lower arms, just normal ones. I agree, the adjustable arms are not for those who want to just install and drive without constant checking. The whole liability issue is kind of nuts over there..no one here would sue for something like that, they'd laiugh you out of the court room.
Didn't take pics yet. They are currently at a machine shop but have been there for 4 weeks. Mine look pretty much like Jim Meyers. A little different. I've tried 5 machine shops.
The only thing I don't like about the adjustable arms is the fact that they could come loose. Like the adjustables do. Last thing we need is a law suit from someone who didn't tighten them up all the way and they fall off. I'll just keep grindin away with what we have.
So yours will be also for a coil over set up like the one I'm using from JMRP?
This company ( http://www.scandc.com/ ) is taking orders on adjustable A-ARMS and will have them in about 2 weeks. They come in standard steel construction or with the sleeves made out of anodized aluminum.
The arms that savitske is selling are from pole position racing products ( http://www.polepositionrp.com ) 72 ray has them, so do I as part of my frankenstein suspension
The arms are not available in the corvette cross shaft bolt spacing, at least they weren't when I got mine, maybe that has changed now..I have 6" spacing and modified the mounts for them.

What about lower A-Arms? The guy at savitske told me that there isn't much area for improvement there, so they don't make any replacements. They said that the C3 upper A- arms will be available in 2 weeks as a complete bolt on.
I was just thinking of tubular uppers and boxing in the lowers as it was done in the day. If someone had a lower that used the stock spring setup I'd consider it.
Van Steel. Try S&W race cars in PA. they have a CNC tubing bender and CNC Plasma Tubing cutter and have turned around my parts in a couple of days from crude Visio Drawings.
Yeah I've heard of them. Just had a brain fart early this morning.
I wish I could a good machine shop. I have a set of Tubular arms that we made but I can't find a company to give me a price quote. I guess no one wants work anymore.
Van Steel,
I have a buddy here in SoCal that specializes in the one off stuff. He could give you a quote if you didn't mind the shipping thing. Right now he is doing frames and small motorcycle parts as well as experimental aircraft parts. It's kind of a full time hobby for him. Let me know if your interested.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. If things don't pan out with this guy, I'll get with you.

And I am patiently waiting for people to give me price quotes.
Olivier I have no clue. I'm having trouble getting ones for the coilovers. Let alone a new design for stock coils. I will post here when I finally get something done.

Any idea of what price range a set of upper and lower a-arms would cost?? (once available)
Hi guys. NICE forum you`ve got here!
I thought I`d give you a heads up on the adj. arms and such. Pole Position is no more, they were bought out by SPC. We`re still working closely with them on new applications though.
We`ve been running the C3 adj. arms for a few months now with great results. They`re direct bolt on,no mods. The range of adjustment is large enough that you can have just about any alignment specs you like. We`re running -1/2* camber,+6* caster with a LOT of adjustment left. Once the jam nuts are locked down they absolutely will not come loose or change adjustment. Our test cars have well over 60K street miles on them so far and counting. The components for the production arms are being made now. We should have ready in 3-4 weeks, maybe even sooner.
We`ll also be offering them as a Street Comp package with the modular tall upper ball joints. These ball joints were developed for NASCAR,ARCA etc. Fully CNC machined, heat treated for toughness with low friction coating on the pivots. Nice stuff, and many times more durable than OE ball joints. It took some convincing to get Howe to bring them out for muscle cars but the results are very impressive. BTW the 3 bolt flange Vette UBJs have been listed for over a year but didn`t actually exist (except in a computer) until this week. We`ll be receiving the very first shipment in 5-6 weeks if anyone is interested.
There have been some numbers thrown around about increase the effective height of the spindles. This is one of those times when too much of a good thing can be bad. Our package increases the height less than an inch. It`s enough to give it a decent negative camber curve and reduce lateral RC migration by roughly half without the static RC getting too high or the FVSA getting too short. Both can induce suspension jacking and erratic handling. On the road the handling and mechanical grip are improved, body lean is reduced and the car is very predictable and east to drive at or near the limit. Thanks! Marcus SC&C
