Default Resonator after headers?

Anyone use a resonator box between their headers and the rest of the exhaust system - to the mufflers?

What did you use for a resonator? I don't see anything reasonable to use.

Adam, My BB friends in McKinney used those 12" Dynomax glass packs. I think there about $20 each.

Hey Buddy;

I was looking more for an empty box type for a resonator box.

Anyone make anything like this, or is this custom stuff for racers...

Before changing to sidepipes, I used resonators from a 70's Lincoln Continental as mufflers mounted where the stock mufflers were. They are same shape as stock mufflers but a smaller....sounded very good although kinda loud. The Midas guy was a friend of mine and suggested them.

My 74 AIM shows resonators just aft of the crossmember as a stock item. Most replacement systems don't use these most likely because of cost. My 74 still has the heat shields in place where the resonators would come close to the body.

Seems the C4 systems have resonators in them. GM and the aftermarkets...

Will need to see what the C4 stock resonators are like...
