Hey Norval.....
I'm putting an 8-71 on my 454, am not running a heater, and would appreciate your advice on: 1- do I need the short 90* hose from the w-pump to the intake, and 2- what do I/should I do with the heater inlet/outlet on the w-pump and intake? Thank you!

As for the heater, I removed it. It's space is now occupied by my 4 msd boxes plus my ignition coil and a bank of relays and fuses.
Agian I don't remember if the intake had the provision for a heater but that and the pump outlet can be plugged.
I am anxious to get your impressions on the blower.
