No Headlights !!
1982 Collectors...no Headlights (bright Or Driving) When Switch Is Pulled...parking Lts Ok....panels Lift Ok...no Fuse In Fuse Panel That Shows It Has Anything To Do With Headlights....all Bulbs Test Ok...is There A Relay Someplace??...manual Says The Relay Is In The Switch Itself...is There Something Else I Should Check Before I Start The Hunt For A Light Switch ???

Indeed there is no separate relay for the headlamps in the car. This is the reason that the switch is so prone to failure; all the power to the lights runs through it. I can't remember if there is a fuseable link in there (don't believe so), but you should be able to follow along the wires from the switch if you stick your head under the dash and match up the wires to the diagram (I believe you're looking for a light green, a dark green, and a brown) you can follow along and see if there is a link in there (it would be under the dash and fairly easy to see). Otherwise, it is almost certainly the switch. This would be a good time to modify the system for a separate relay to save replacing the switch again.
