To you guys who suggested the Earls gaskets thanks. I got the left side done w/ new rubber w/ metal core vlv cover gaskets. Padres game is on so the right side has to wait until Thursday.
Sorry pics are so damn large but I'm using a loaner laptop till mine is repaired.
Yep, that Earl makes good stuff. The collector seals are awesome if you need those at some point. My bro just told me tonite that he has my valve covers painted and I haven't tried the valve cover seals...
Are those valve cover gaskets pictured Earl's also? If so, let me know how they do.
Those Earl's header gaskets really rock! I have Dynomax headers and had a heck of a time getting them to seal until I got the uncut Earl's gaskets and cut them out to mate up perfectly. No more blown paper gaskets and they sealed up correctly to the somewhat oddly shaped headers (Dynomax uses a somewhat oval shape).
I'm sure you'll love them even more once you're back driving with them.
Those Earl's gaskets rule. If you have to change them out in the future you can buy just inserts, they come in diff port sizes and uncut (like Dath mentioned) to match them up to the port size of the heads or headers. They hold the headers bolt torq well also.

Exactly that's what turned me on to them in the first place.
