Default paint question 73 plastic bumper

Ok...... I Have Painted My Bumper Twice Now And Each Time The Paint Cracks. I've Used Flex Primer Andthe Color Coat Still Cracks. I Need To Know If You Have Any Hints To This Madness Or Should I Just Pay Someone To Do It....

You state that you use a flex primer but you also say the color coat cracks. I believe you need a flex additive in the color coat.

You didn't say if the bumper cover was new. If it is old, the cracks may be in the cover itself, and showing up through the paint. If a new cover, cracks shouldn't appear even if no flex added in the color coat.

bumper was new not sure if the cracking was caused by wetsanding too soon or what. Soooo do I need a flex color coat will normal paint work. I should mention that it cracked before I could clear coat it. No point now until I do it over

You need to wet-sand thru the crack, removing any traces or the split paint. Re-seal and shoot color with the appropriate amount of flex additive. We don't add flex to the clear, as urethane clears are fairly flexable when cured.
