Default Question on Dravette Safety Loops

Sorry about the dup ! I posted this in General by mistake, thought it best be posted in Technical

I recently purchased a set and was wondering if the OEM Castle Nut can be used, are there enough threads to install the Castlenut/carter pin ?

There was a shorter nut included in the kit. It just barely clears the threads, so there is no room for a pin. Steve recommends you use loctite. I also check mine every so often.

Default Haven't installed mine yet, but I don't believe

it will take too long. I only got the half-shaft loops. If you have offset trailing arms, there is a special set of loops for them, just talk to Steve at Dragvette.com.

The value in the loops is the money/time it saves you if one of the half-shafts should break loose .

Steve got mine shipped out right away.

Default Carl A - yep they bolt right up

haven't done my install yet, Not sure how long it will take.

Probably about 1 hour per side would be my guess.

You could call and talk to Steve at Dragvette, nice dude.
