Turn Signal Lever Problem!!!!!
Thanks in advance for your help.
If your lever is broken off so that there is a broken stub that remains in the dimmer pivot and you find that it is too short to get hold of, you can drill the stub and run a short self tapping screw into it. Grip the screw and pull straight out.
Another method to get the broken piece out of the column is to make a simple tool to poke the stub out of the pivot from the back side. Here is a link to the instructions:

Good luck,

If you have a steering column with a bulge on the left side of the steering column head for the headlight dimmer, then the turn signal lever plugs into the dimmer pivot. All C3 Corvettes from 1977 through 1982 had dimmer pivots. If it is a T&T column, there will also be a another lever. It will screw into a metal bracket that can be seen inside a hole in the column head. It will be below the turn signal lever.
The original 1976 T&T steering column had a round head steering column. There was not a dimmer bulge on the left side. That steering column had a turn signal lever that screwed into a post that you could see through a port on the left side of the column head. Below the turn signal lever, the tilt lever screwed into a metal bracket that can be seen inside a port below the turn signal lever.
