Default Horn Help

Usually, I can search and find the answers to most of my problems but this time I must ask. I have completely rewired my '69 bumper to bumper (It only took 2 months). I haven't yet been able to figure out the little horn contact button in the steering wheel. What order do the spring, post, and insulator go in? I can't make it out in my assembly manual. Are they simply dropped into the hole? Is there supposed to be a sleeve or something they go inside of ? Once I have this the wiring is mission completed.

It is the first the spring #6 then the little metal thing called an eyelet #7, then the plastic insulator bushing #8 to hold everything in place in the horn tower. The small part of the eyelet should stick out and press against the bent tab on the horn contact #5 .

This link to an AIM sheet shows the parts.

If things still don't work, you may need:

Dumb question time. Replacing horn/low tone. The car horn if I looked close enough seemed to have one wire. Replacement has two (+ and -). What did I miss? Thanks, Ed
