Default Sidepipe Inserts

There are several Vendors who handle the sidepipe inserts. I opted for the new chambered inserts sold by sweet thunder. I could not allow myself to run the Hooker Reverse Flow Glasspack inserts as they are very restrictive. The sweet thunder units are avaiable in 2" all the way up to 3". I opted for the 2-1/2" for my BB car and they are awesome. The sound is unreal and half the price of the spiral inserts.

2-1/2 sounds unreal and a great alternative to the glasspack

I have the 2 1/4" sweet thunder inserts for my (almost) stock SB - sounds great, runs great...

These are a lot better than the restrictive Hooker mufflers, maybe not as free flowing as the spirals but half the price and great for a SB

I'm now running the new Hooker 2 1/2" Max Flow insert (hafta try em all ) and so far they the best sounding I've tried. I wanted to build another set, but couldn't find the type of perforated tubing Hooker uses. It has a bazzillian tiny holes compared to most with larger fewer ones.
