Default Holley 4011

I just found a Holley 4011 spread bore, 800 cfm. The carb looks 100% intact and has the Summit fuel inlet. Doing a forum search I found 1 thread that doesn't speak highly of this carb. Is it worthwhile to rebuild and use? I especially like the annualr booster feature, thinking it may be great for driveability and economy.

I've been using an Edelbrock carb and have no complaints with it. But, I've never had a Holley, so what the heck, maybe try something different and see how it does.

Thanks,

The 4000 series was an evolutionary deadend for Holley. Nothing particularly wrong with the carb but as a departure from Holley's foundation of modularity in design and nearly unlimited tuning potential, there's not much you can do with it. Sometimes, that's not such a bad thing. It's closest in design to the Autolite 4000 carbs.

I have used both the 4010 and the 4011 and was not impressed by either. When I finally bolted on a 4150 the motor came to life. If it was me I would pass
