Sweet. I called you guys months ago about these. Already purchased all my suspension parts, bushings, offset T-Arms, and brakes from you guys. Glad to hear the arms are coming along well. I'm almost ready to pull the body, so I'll probably be ready to install them here in a couple months. Better get a move on!!

You also run the same risk w/offset t-arms and stock arms for that matter. If the welds ever broke on a stock t-arm you'd be SOL too. And most of us know the stock arm welds break very easily. But I do see your point.

All of our welding is done by certified welders and it's all done on jigs.

Are the cross shafts the same OD where the bushings sit on the end or is it completely custom?

Van Steel, this better not be a practical joke. You better get those lower a arms made and soon! How about making the tubes 1.5" like Twin Turbo suggested? Nobody likes when viewers unzip you and see a stringy little tube. Girth makes a man proud! Don't forget the boast factor!

I'll have to measure that one and get back to you but I believe they are different. The bushings are completely different so I would imagine that the OD of the shaft is. I'll have them in my hands on 12/6 and will make not of that for you.

LOL. No joke. I've been looking into these for quite some time and I finally found someone who actually wanted to work and take the time to make them. 1" tubes should be sufficent. I'm not sure that 1.5" tubes would work with the ball joints cups as a 1.5" tube may be higher than the walls surrounding the ball joint. Plus we are working with a weight factor. I realize whats available out now and I want ours to be stronger and lighter so it's a win win situation for everyone.

Very nice

What kind of bushings are these and are they available so they can be replaced when they're worn (in 20 years or so) ?

That small diameter stiffener on the lower arms looks a little weak - well, I'm sure you guys did your homework but would it be such a huge weight disadvantage if it was the same diameter tubing as the rest of the arm ?

These are delron bushings. No it's not a huge weight savings by going to a smaller bar but this bar will be just fine.

Even if they are different, that's not that big a deal. Just hoping they are available seperately from the arms I like them a lot better than the stockers.

I will have more info on these arms when we test fit them as far as weight goes. The arms will come powder coated gloss black standard. Any color will be available. We started up a new powder coating company that has a 30 ft x 12 ft x 12 ft oven.
Today is 12/06/05 can you give us an update??
