5.3L TT Crate engine...
Hmmm, this doesn't seem like a bad price for a 600+ hp TT crate engine. What do you think, and no I don't have any intentions of ordering one anytime soon
Check it out !

Thats kind of cool but isn't its power output pretty low? Heck I have seen 2L Turbo Honda blocks put out more power
The GM ZZ572 puts out 620 horsepower at 5500 RPM and 650 ft. lbs. of torque at 4500 RPM. for only $13k and its N/A.
Granted its not alum but who cares. Makes more power without the Turbos and costs less.

Flood, the nice thing about turbo engines is you can always turn up the boost. Crank the boost up to 15psi or so on that engine, big power #'s.

Its all about teh Boost!
Yeah those little 2L motors are pushing 30-40psi to get those numbers.

And they don't last too long either.

I've always thought that would be a cool install also
Those engines let the Grand Nations do 10's without much work. I believe GM also put those engines into the 30th Anniversery Trans Ams (1989?).

A 327 pushing 630 HP out with just 6PSI and a redline of 6400 is doing just fine......thats almost 2HP/CI.
