82 steering column removal

I haven't done this job, anything different then the earlier cars? 2 bolts under the dash, 2 bolts on the fire wall, unclip harness?

I have a 1970 no tilt/tele wheel

From your post, it sounds like a easy replace ..........is it as easy as it sounds.

I'd love a tilt wheel (little hard getting in & out)

Here is a paper and a scan that describes the step by step procedure to drop and remove the steering column. The procedure for both the standard (non-adjustable) column and the T&T are identical.

same amount of wires as earlier years, there's no difference in the columns. I have a 78 column in my 82. The only difference is the levers for the signal/cruise.
