Why would you want to mount your accessories so far out and high up? The belts need to be long, more chance of jumping and it clutters up the engine.
Keep them low and in front.

Thanks for the responses guys.

PolishMike, your setup looks awesome!!!!! Unfortunately it is a little outside my budget right now but I plan on it for a future upgrade after the car is back on the road.

Norval, i have not been able to find a setup that pulls the alternator inboard more. Do you know of one?

Thanks
Wade

Wade as you probably already guessed I make all my own brackets. Long ago I moved the alternator to the passengers side and bolted it to the front of the head. I was able to put a long stud through the alternator and into the lower outer hole of the cylinder head. I then fabricated using an old bracket and adjuster slot.
It made for a very short belt. For the power steering I kept it in the stock location which was down low and again a short belt.
I didn't run air so I was fine there.
I know this a a shot of my blower motor but both accesories are still in the same location as my nitrous motor.

Figures....... Norval you need to start marketing some of your talent. between the hydraulic clutch, hydroboost and pully designs you would make a fortune.

Twin Turbo, Big632 sent me the specs on what he did to make this setup work. I am not quite sure I understand everything yet but once I get the bracket things should become clearer.

I am running 2 groove pulleys on everything so I have a level of redundancy if one belt breaks or jumps off.

Thanks
Wade

Why not just get a stock bracket from one of the supporting vendors?

I would but I really like the looks of the billet and I don't see anything from the supporting vendors. If you know of any please let me know.

Thanks

To me those chromed brackets gook goddy? If that is a word?? I don't like the looks. They will hang over the upper A arms making alignment even harder. LOng belts jump easier.

Ok ok ya'll are starting to make to much sense......

Would you recommend any one supporting vendors over the other? Also what all do I need? My old Small block PS pump will work right? I just need the alternator and PS brackets for a BB correct? I am not running AC so that is not a problem.

Thanks
Wade

Why not just get a billet aluminium mount plate, IMO if there's anything that's totally ugly it's those unnecessary long sleeves w/ rod ends on the end like the march setups have, it's like bolting a crane to the front of the engine..I think it looks totally silly.

I ended up using a stock bracket. Gave up on the custom stuff.

You can also purchase the kit from Paragon as well. The brackets are the cheap part lol. You will need a water pump pulley as well.
