Default Pedal Swap question

I am in process of putting in clutch and brake pedal set. Do I have to remove the master cylinder and booster? I know the same nuts that hold the pedal assembly hold the booster to the firewall, but can't I slide the assembly off the studs and just the leave the booster hanging in the firewall holes?

Talk to Carguy4sure. He did this a couple of weeks ago. Do remove the drivers seat and steering wheel. There are 10 bolts in total. 4 in the windshield wiper cowling.

I'm doing this too. Carguy4sure told me to remove the booster and let the master brake cyl. hang by the brake lines. Remove the steering column and seat to make it easier.

Yes, I am removing the seat and steering column. But how do you remove the booster w/out removing the master cylinder? How do you pull the booster fwd to clear the studs from the firewall without the MS being in the way?

I pulled the booster out with the master cylinder. The studs from the booster are what hold the pedal assembly in place. And I left my seat in the car, no problems there. Also make sure to clear all of the wires out of the way when it's time to drop the old pedal assembly.

Good luck! It's worth all the work believe me, manuals are so much more funnerester.
