help identifying crate(?) engine 50LG
This engine is in a 1977. Pad is stamped V0921 CLD , 1 ML 156048
There is no casting number in the usual location, instead, cast in is 50LG 5GT, then to the right on an oval area ,1190
This engine has the bolts in the center of the valve covers.
The CLD stamping on the pad would seem to indicate a 210 HP, MT setup either 1977 or 73-74. but the lack of a casting number and the valve covers point to a crate engine.
