Car is sqeaking, what could it be?
I’ve got a squeaking sound coming from the cars left rear. It is continuous and varies in conjunction with the speed of the car. Don’t think it’s the wheel bearing; I’m thinking something to do with the parking brake.
Anybody have this issue before, would of done a search, but, well you know. Just looking for a heads up of what it might be. Won’t be able to tackle the issue for a couple of weeks.

The springs rust and break then they grind in the bottom of the E-brake drum. Very common problem.

The brake calipers are most likely moving back and forth on the calipers pins. Mine did the same thing. Do a brake job, or at least change the pins out for new ones. I am almost sure this will be the fix. You could block up the rear end and put it in gear to check if this is it.
