fuel regulator question
so my 489/871 engine is done. we are building a run stand for it now but i have to put a fuel system together before we can run it. I will be using an electric fuel pump. probably a carter "black unit" but the regulators offer more choices then i thought. i am running two pro systems 850 double pumpers. the car will be a pro street type with some drag strip time planned for sure. holly recomends either two regulaters or one of the volummax units specificly designed for dual carb aplication. also i see boost referencing is availible. do i want that feature. i plan on running a max of 10 lbs boost.

Get an aeromotive A2000, it has 4 outlets and boost references (which you don't need), special for carbs. I have one also, it's a very nice regulator. Might as well get a decent fuel pump (aeromotive, SX) not a big fan of carter or holley pumps.
