Why do you want a magnesium manifold? Like the bright glow it makes with it gets hot?

??? lightweight, it's a downdraft mech. FI style manifold, want to convert it to reg. EFI. Magnesium doesn't just burn, you have to expose it to a lot of heat and have a lot of surface area to react, either powder or something like that (that's why grinding it can be dangerous), sure in a good fire it'll burn away also but there's nothing to worry about in normal conditions, I have more mag. parts on my car

I'm just thinking of that old VW engine that was made out of magnesium that people burned at bonfires because it glowed like the sun.

Old friend of ours - a scrap man - was given some aircraft wheels for scrap.
Thought he would save time and burn off the old tyres..........
Yep - you got it - magnesium wheels - he also thought the sun lived in his garden.
