??? lightweight, it's a downdraft mech. FI style manifold, want to convert it to reg. EFI. Magnesium doesn't just burn, you have to expose it to a lot of heat and have a lot of surface area to react, either powder or something like that (that's why grinding it can be dangerous), sure in a good fire it'll burn away also but there's nothing to worry about in normal conditions, I have more mag. parts on my car

Yep - you got it - magnesium wheels - he also thought the sun lived in his garden.
TT I will put a post on the Uk Corvette Club forum with a link to here, hopefully one of the West Yorkshire guys will give you some info, or even go and eyeball it for you and get the correct weight.
