Default brake master booster

hi all, could i get rid of the brake master booster in a C3 '77, the booster is that ugly black poor looking thing which is attached at the right of the brake master cylinder...will i have consequences in the brake pedal feeling? i'm cleaning my engine bay and this thing is one of the monsters i want to wipe away...

If you remove the booster you'll have to replace the master clyinder with a manual master clyinder. They look the same but are designed to work without the booster,

An alternative, if you like power brakes is to use an hydrolic assist called Hydorboost, it needs a power steering pump though.

www.hydroboost.com Better braking and no vacuum cannister. The hydroboost works great.
