hood adjustment

the hood on my 69 sticks up about a 1/4 of an inch at the back the front seems to be ok. is there some type of an adjustment that can made . Thank you

Ithink the pin's on the cowl can be turned in , topull the hood down more

At the risk of changing something that seems to work quite well, turning those pins to adjust hood...will the locking mechanism need adjustment as well??

Take a look at my website at this link. You will see the latching mechanism for the hood. You have to use a screwdriver to turn down the latch but in order to turn it you must first loosen the locking ring at the bottom. Once you've turned down the latch then use clay or play doh to get the clearance right on the hood stop. Good luck.
