No experience with this book, but if you get the year specific shop manual(s) and the assembly manual, I don't see why you would need this generic book.

The Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM) should be the FIRST book any Vette owner should buy. If you already have it....any and all books in your library will be an asset.

I have that book and it's more or less a copy of the GM service manual. It's not bad but I use the GM manual before I pick up this.
You're wise to ask about books before buying them. I have most of the vette service books out. Some are good others are not. There's one I was looking at the other day, forgot the name but it has a nice 70-72 blue vert on the cover. Nice looking book but I took issues with some of the statements in it on repair. It doesn't really tell you anything other then general information?

That, and a reproduction owner's manual. You'd be surprised how many C3 drivers don't have an owner's manual.

The ebay listing is a reproduction of the GM service manual. It's useful and reasonably priced.

Default I have that one too...

The only thing is...

There are greasy fingerprints on some of the pages.

All in all it's not a bad book, especially in combination with the AIM.

I've got this one plus a Haynes and a Chiltons manual. Don't have the specific genuine GM manual, but wish I did. In order of preference, I like this one best, then Haynes, then Chiltons. I find I usually refer to all three before working, and often look in my old Motor's books as well, and compare differences. The Assembly Manual is a must. I also have several "rebuild/restore your Corvette" books and they come in handy as well for a number of jobs....Two I find I have never used since I got them are the interchange manual and parts number ID books, but I don't mind having them, you never know....
