What do you mean not enough power? That same exact cam made 300 hp on the earlier corvettes. They just had a different head and intake system. It all depends on the other parts you are going to use and that cam would be great. I used just a little bigger cam than that one with modified GM 305 heads and I'm getting around 300 hp. Of course I also have a better intake, carb and headers now, but I did it. Not to mention all of this is in a 78 chevy van. You have to start off by asking yourself what you want to have in terms of power with the parts you want to use and/or already have and just research what other parts you need to balance out the equation. I might not have decades of experience but I have achieved alot with my toys.
