Default Passenger side mirror

I recently got a right sided (passenger) mirror for my '71 T-top. Anyone know the proper measurements and landmarks to drill the holes to install it? I was going to just "mirror" the measurements on the driver's (left) side, but before I start drilling fiberglass, I figured I'd ask.

I used to own a '70 and did a dumb thing and sold it in 1979 but if memory serves me both mirrors are identical in positioning. I'd go with that.

Mine came with a template to drill the holes. I do know that it is in the same position as the drivers side. You should be able to "mirror" it. Good luck.

Hi, I ordered a passenger mirror myself and here are the measurements that I got with it.

1 and 3/8 inches down from top of door and the two
holes are 1 and 3/4 inches apart and the leading hole
is 9 and 3/8 inches from front of door.I would mark those points with a marker and have someone hold the mirror in place and "mirror it" just to see if it
looks good first. Good luck
