Default Is this the voltage regulator?

I am removing the wiring harness from the engine bay of my '69 and have a couple of questions.

Question 1: The relay on the left fender next to the vacuum tank - is this the voltage regulator (it looks like it)?

Question 2: I am planning on ordering a new harness with the option of converting it to an internal regulated alternator. Will I be able to remove this regulator when I switch to a 1 wire alternator?

TIA.

The relay next to the vacuum tank is the horn relay (do not remove it).... the stock alternator has the regulator built into it, though it is not the newer one wire type.

Okay, then what is the other relay over on the right side near the A/C box?

I don't see a relay on my '69 on the right side (but I don't have A/C, either)......no relay by the blower motor, either......maybe someone else can help ?....

I did some investigating and it appears that the relay is somehow connected to the A/C controls, the wires go in thru the firewall and tie into the A/C control harness it looks as if Bubba had gotten to it.

Real scary! I'll post some pics as soon as I figure out how to post.

Relay on the driver's side is the horn relay as stated above. Relay on the passenger side is the blower relay if your car has/had air conditioning. Voltage regulator is built into the alternator - '69 is first year for the integral reg feature on Vette.
