I'm going to probably be ordering my front end rebuild kit this week, who has used them and what are your opinions on em? There's only a $10 difference between the two after shipping and discounts. The VBP one is a little more.
I bought my front end rebuild kit from Van Steel. Dan is a great guy to deal with and he will answer the phone when you ask for him. VB&P is great to deal with also but I think they are a larger operation and a little less personalized.
Almost all of my front/rear suspension stuff is from VBP or Van Steel. I think that they share products. Whether or not you buy this or that from one or the other probably doesn't make too much difference.
I originally bought VBP's "Smart Rods". I later decided to buy Tom's Differential's strut rods. Their rods have heim joints and also they use the original factory bracket to attach to the differential. Using the original bracket means that the attach holes to the differential are very precise. This precise hole geometry is required to keep the bracket from sliding around under high power acceleration. The VBP bracket did not seem to have this accuracy. Tom's use of the original factory bracket is modified, by welding, lower attach points for the strut rods to achieve a parallel strut rod to drive shaft geometry. If you have questions, call Tom or Kenny. Kenny does Tom's Corvette IRS product development.

I buy from vbandp becuase we can drive there and pick it up.
Van Steel is only 10-15 minutes away from VBP. They are very close to each other....
I like Van Steel better because they actually work on the cars at the shop, and are much more friendly/knowledgable.
Gonna go with vansteel, due to price. Ordering it next week once I get my insurance money from my injury from the death of my beloved '95 Z28 I still miss that car.
