Default T Top Mods?

My 74 has tops that droop and sag inside. I doubt that there is very much in the way of a heat insulation in there either. Any suggestions for fixing ther droop as well as insulating from the sun? I was thinking some thin insulation covered by traditional headliner material. If there are replacement t top liners that have room for a layer on insulation inbetween? Having never done it, I wonder who has? TIA

Rick

I fixed my drooping head liners by installing another screw in clip at the rear (similiar to the factory two on the sides). No more droop .

I recovered mine with stadard headliner material and it came out great. you could put a thin layer of fiberglass insulation between the headliner and the roof panel.

Just a little more headroom and alot better looking. As to quiter or cooler, nope. I've been thinking about trying to put something between the fiberglass and the factory interior piece to reduce wind noise, just haven't came up with any great ideas yet.
