Not nearly as well as yours. It took me all afternoon to replace my shocks. The upper rear brackets were both bent (crushed) at the bolt holes because the ape that put on the last set of shocks tightened the bolts down real tight. Wouldn't have mattered except there wasn't a steel sleeve in the bushing to prevent the bracket from bending. Since money and time are tight this winter I've decided to focus my time on finishing a bunch of little details rather than large projects. Although I'm about to order a new weatherstipping kit.
I bought a set of kick panels off ebay to cut up and put a set of 6.5 speakers down there. I'm currently fiberglassing a sub enclosure to sit were the passenger rear 6x9 should be. I've already got the CD player in the panel, just have to run all my wiring and add the amp and I'm ready to cruise this spring.
Hi Ed,
Beautiful job on cleaning up the underside of your Vette! Just a quick safety concern remark: that bucket is very top-heavy with that diff sitting on it and could crush a foot if it tipped over. Specially important to consider if you have children.

Let me know if you would like pictures of the speakers in mine... have kick panel 6.5s, 8" sub in the storage compartment and 6x9s in the rear corners. I can take the face off the enclosure which will show how it was fab'ed.
