mine is leaking in the back so i thought i would remove it and se how it feels
I just removed the block and added a short line from the master to the rear brake lines.
I was doing a line lock at the time so I just ran a line from the master to the linelock and then 2 individual lines to the front brakes.
I do not have a problem with the rears locking up before the front, never did. I also removed what was a proportioning valve on the mustang and found the brakes improved.

The debate on this block was beaten to death a while ago. I remember the conclusion was It is only a light switch/distribution block but I am not willing to fight over a chunk of brass

really? I must have missed it. still...I'll pull mine apart, maybe just the 78-up are prop valves/differential valve combos.
