SuperCharged?
Mybe even consider a 'howto' down the road... I know many people have been wanting to use a procharger on their vette

It was a thought until I saw some of the prices.
Norval, I hear you and partially agree. That said, here's an example of what I meant. I took my vette over to Midas 2 months ago. I didn't have the tools at home and weather was coming, I wanted to get it done, so I went. Big, big mistake. As I watched, the tech doing my rear calipers (the line fittings were frozen) used a torch to free the fittings. I told him to open the bleeders before doing that. He wouldn't. BOOM! There goes my brake line. He started doing the same on the other side, that manager finally came over and told him the same thing. There were other things that told me that no one there knew what they were doing but to top it all off, a guy was checking for spark on a 98 or 99 Firebird 2 bays down. With the fuel line disconnected. And the fuel power NOT disconnected. It went up in flames right in front of me. They put it out, then this dipsh%$ started blowing the extinguisher powder out with an air hose. My vette is white, this guy said, "Oh well, white car, white powder". These guys were all ASE certified.
My son is NOT a mechanic yet runs a evening repair shop and of the 4 he is the best Mechanic if you want to use the term loosly but he could not get a job as a mechanic because he lacks the piece of paper.
Because you are certified doesn't mean you are any good.
It is just that Stingray is only 17, from his posts he knows nothing about cars, pretends he can hold his own agianst people that know anything.
Look at his posts? They are garbage? Look at his profile? A 66 thou oversize small block?? That size is not even available?
Look at his command of english??
I repeat he gives mechanics a bad name and he isn't even one. I wouldn't let him change my oil in my truck.
You ran into his type at Midas

A few posts earlier I mentioned I have to finish the A1000 eletric fuel pump and billet inline filter install. Check Sig also.
My MBA studying has taken away my vette tinker time this year. We will see if I can get some wrench time before spring. I have all the parts listed below, just need the time and effort (lost steam and interest right now):
What is left to do:
- intercooler and plumbing
- electric water pump install
- electric fuel pump install and filters (evaluate current fuel lines)
- belt install
- removing the dual plane intake and installing a single plane (performance preference, not required)
- complete/finish wiring for the alternator relocation
- carb tuning.
Its not much, i just haven't been motivated lately.

The picture doesn't due it justice. I will clean up the install, complete it and get some headway soon I hope, then post some decent pictures and fire-up the beast.
