Re: What's your worst INSULT! (UltimateAlternativeWaver)
actually one of my friends replied for me, here's how he replied "yeah, but he still has the corvette" ouch. he just shut up and walked away when dustin said that one.
Another. From a local tree-hugger at a car show. "Is that one of those decadent pre-emission vehicles that are killing our forests? I would recommend that you consider an alternate fuel or hybid fuel vehicle. These gasoline cars are pretty ancient. My, the motor is rather large. We do have fuel alternatives. :smash: :smash:. Hydrogen might be an option.". I gave him the stats on methane generation from cows and their contribution to global warming. No reply for some reason.
Riding in my sons supercharged 98 Cobra ( 534 RWHP ) and all the while he's challenging my 165hp 75. I love my Vette, but that blinding acceleration is unreal. Of course the real insult was having him buy a Ford in the first place . I thought that I had taught him better. Hershey

Yeah, my dad did teach me better. He used to own Fords, in fact, the first car I had was the old family Tempo... That taught me an important lesson. Never again. :U
I love it!!!
I had a similar comment from my sister-in-law when I first dropped my engine on to the chassis. Actually it was more like: "Couldn't you have picked a better color for the engine than orange?"
