I think it was Rolling Thunder who posted some images of his Autometer Speedo and Tach install. His looked very nice. I just finished mine today, here's a trial fit. I still need to tihhten the screws holding the housing in the dash. My other gauges are also matching Autometer Ultralights.
That looks very nice  I see also that you mounted the gauges on a seperate piece of plastic good idea  Here's a pic of my gauges :seeya pic2 pic3 KENWOOD SPEAKER BOX for sounds KENWOOD 600 WATT AMP so I can listen to the music over the engine noise :D
I had a machine shop make me a panel out of 3/16" aluminum plate, using the original bezel as an outer template. Then thye cut the 4 5/8" holes for the 5" speedo/tach. They couldn't cut the rectangular holes for the warning lights, but I've now found someone you can (CNC). I'll probably get it redone this winter when I'm not in a rush. If you want one for your gauges, I could just have two made at the same time.
Part of my favorite things on a corvette are the original gauges....Though U guys have don a fantastic Job with the changeover......I guess I am just a old skool purist
Yep, that was you Vettedan that I was thinking about. Once again, you did an excellent job on your install. Did you figure out your warning lights situation?
Monty-Thanks for the complement. You did a mighty nice install on yours as well. It looks great. They’re much better looking than the factory gauges. I preferred the white gauges over the black, but I didn’t want to have to replace all the other gauges. I put the parking brake, turn signal and high beam indicators location on hold. I have to finish some suspension work for an autocross event coming up at the end of the month. I’ll probably do something similar to the way you did yours.
