Heads up for front end!
I found a large fine thread bolt with washer under the 77 today. I jacked it up and found the place it came from. The front nut for the lwr control arm fell out. All of the nuts were loose upon inspection This was quite alarming . I retorqued all including top control arms which were also loose. it was just a matter of days,.. minutes for the rest to fall out. This is scary. I guess it pays to inspect all components of the suspension periodically. I never had this happen on any other car though. I believe the last owner had the front control arm bushings and ball joints done before I bought it. Maybe he never torqued the bolts down? :smash:
