C3 Front Suspension

Anyone using a front transverse monospring for their front suspension in their C3? I am curious as to how these perform over the high performance (F-41 or Gymkhana coil springs). Please let me know your thoughts or if you are aware of a suspension or brake group purchase.
Pro's / Con's of the transverse front monospring? Any brands recommended?

My friend has the transverse front spring in his 75 and I have the 550 VBP springs in my 78. They have similar handling characteristics but the transverse spring offers a more comfortable ride.

Thanks, I'm not necessarily looking to ride in comfort, I’m aiming to upgrade to the best possible performance package I can find. If the best is pricy like it usually is then I’ll just wait till the funds have grown. Anyone know of any articles (Corvette Fever or t.v. shows) that compared front suspension for the Corvette preferably the C3’s?
