Now what.
Now the engine runs like crap when cold, it won’t take the gas and of cause the tack still fluttering? Then you take it down the high way 3 miles and it runs ok takes the gas and the tack works like it should.

Have you checked your fuel filter? Could you have crap in the tank? Have you tuned it with new plugs, wires cap etc? Also check the timing. I would get the engine running right before I worried about the tach. Just my thoughts.
