1977 TH-350 question
This is in my 1977 TA Im restoring:
Man, I cant stop this leak
Its not the rear seal, or trans pan. So where in the hell is it leaking from? Just sitting in the garage (it hasnt been on the road yet), its leaked at least a qt on the floor over the last few days................
It seems to come from somewhere around where the dipstick attaches on top the tranny body, but why would it leak from there just sitting?
The tranny coolant lines attach in this area as well

My TH 350 started leaking from the dipstick just sitting in the floor after I removed it to install the T5. The seal gets hard and leaks over time. Another bad place to leak is where the speedo cable enters the transmission case. It wears and starts to leak over time.
