02 sensor, where is it??
Well, failed NYS Inspection today. The shop person told me that the hydro- carbon emissions were off. Possibly the catalytic converter or an 02 sensor. The cat is new, along with the entire exhaust system, new Rapid Fire plugs, new GTX oil, timming on, carb rebuilt, So my next approach is replacing the 02 sensor. However, don't know where it is. I could look it up in the shop manual, but at this point....I'm too disgusted!! :U What am I missing?? (1980/L82/350ci) Any help would be appreciated. L8TER, Paul.

What your missing is the O2 sensor. If your car is a 80 you don't have one.
My 80 dosen't anyway. I don't know about 81's but the 82 does. I'm no expert but check for vac. leaks and timing.
