I want to check and see if I am in the ball park money wise for rebuilding the rearend.
So here is what I am getting:
restored trailing arms complete (with parking brake hardware installed) and ready to bolt in, shim kit and bolts, new bushings in the camshafts and the cam bolts, new steel 9 leaf spring with bolts, new u-joints in the half shafts and all the necessary hardware and new gasket and bolts for the differential cover.
I would ask what parts are being use, ie are the joints standard zerk joints for $15 or Spicer HD joints for $25? Are the bushings rubber or poly? T arms how were they built and who did them? What is the setup for endplay and did they check/correct rotor runout?
You can look up the parts in any vendor catalog and figure that you'll pay that at a min. garages will add another 30%.
Is alignment included?
BTW these are rear suspension parts not the differential(rear end)
