The replacement should be fine for your car. Granted the Al ones are better but if cost is an issue the C&B will work. I have one made by godan. I used it inour 75 and don't have any cooling issues with a 375 hp high reving engine in 90* temps. One thing is they donlt come with the correct 90* sweeps instead they are 90* right angles and in the wrong position. I had to have a very good radiator shop swap the the sweeps from the original one to this for it to work. I don't knw where you are but I have another one here in CT if you're interested.
Be sure the seals, carb, and timing are in place and set too.
