Default Wheel Well Clearance

HI
On a 74,
How big should the gap be between the frame and the body back at the passenger rear wheel - where you can see the fuel lines!
We just put the body back on !
Thanks

HI
If someone could just have a look in their rear wheel well and give a guess as to clearance between the frame and body where the fuel lines set - that would probable help, 70s or 80s cars
Thanks

I don't have a 70's or 80's C3 but the measurement on my 68 (right above the rear bumpstop) is 1.200 inches. The rubber mount cars are supposed to sit up higher. I've heard 3/8 inch or more. Hope this helps.

I looked on my 69, there is @ 1 inch, and yes you can see the fuel line.

I think almost 2" is right. Like I said my 68 solid mount car is 1.20. If you add the additional height of the later rubber mounts (and the mounts are not bolted/compressed), you might be correct at 2".
