I'm Ready To Install My Power Brake Booster And Master Cylinder,, In The Assebly Manual It Shows A Gasket And A Retainer Between The Booster And The Cylinder... I Have Not Been Able To Find These Parts. Are They Needed? I Bought New Parts And They Were Not With Them.
I just rebuilt my MC last summer, and the rebuild kit did not come with the gasket between the MC and booster either. I ended up just using the original that was there. The retainer holds that gasket in place. For the brakes to operate properly, and to prevent a major vacuum leak, the seal and retainer need to be there. As far as sourcing them, I'm not too sure.

cork or rubber
go to you local parts store and find either a roll of cork or thin rubber, use the MC to trace out your own gasket and cut to fit. this is what i did and have no problems.. pretty cheep too,
Are You Talking About Making A Gasket Between The Booster And Mc? It Looked Like It Was Something Special Because The Manual Says To Put Them On The Mc Before Attaching To The Booster. If Its That Easy I'll Be Ahead Of The Game.

exactly, the gasket is noting special, on olders cars it was simply a piece of cork, at some point in time it switched to rubber, either will work effectively as a seal. best way to do it is to make a paper template to ensure its shape is correct ant then transfer it to the gasket material you use
