I saw a cool 75 the other day with a "Shark Bar" it was a bar that mounted from one side to another and the 4-point seat belts hung off of it. This bar is really expensive and the 4-point cage, from Jegs, is less expensive. So I see no point to it. Is there any cheap way to run a bar across the back for 4-point harnesses? Any pics? Thanks.
Cheap ??? yes, get some pipe from Home Depot and fabricate some brackets that you can bolt to the frame and weld the pipe/bar to.
I have all the material waiting in my garage, flat carbon steel material (3"x8", thickness .200" / 5mm) and pipe from the HomeDepot plumbing aisle (1.5' diameter, .125" wall)....
the homemade sharkbar is one of the projects on my "2006 to do list"
