Will the 73-79 spoiler bolt up to a 71 without a lot of modifications? I need to get as much air through the radiator as possible, and at the same time keep air out from under the car. Thanks. Ron B.

GM offered a Lower Radiator Extension that attaches to the stock polypropylene spoiler. It adds about 4 inches to the spoiler and was designed to grab more air for the radiator.
It's made of rubber (truck-mud flap type material) and easily handles obstructions without damage. You can make one yourself if you can get some material, or may be able to find it from GM. I posted a thread on here a while back on this and included the part number I think.
CF77: Can you post a better pic of the spoiler? Looks good, I want to see the mounting details. I like the rubber idea. All good spoilers get trashed. The extra inches will make a big diff in cd and cooling.
Taijutsu, I removed the lower valance and then mounted the front spoiler to the mounting holes for the valance. This is a picture of the front scoop without the adjustable lip.

This is a lightened picture to show more detail.
It is really low to the ground though, about two inches after I installed the 550 front springs. If you want more pictures let me know.
